The liberal advocacy group MoveOn.org is targeting Republican members of Congress who voted last week for a budget bill that would privatize Medicare in the future — and Central Florida freshman Dan Webster could be getting a visit from some frustrated constituents Thursday.
They’re planning to protest outside his Winter Garden office at noon.
“It’s time Representative Daniel Webster heard from us, loud and clear: voting to end Medicare is completely unacceptable and we will hold you accountable,” the group says.
Webster recently visited with the Sentinel editorial board, and defended the vote. Check this out for his take.
